Safe Use Methods Of Friction Bolt

As a relatively simple structural steel, the rock bolt is actually a convenient and irreplaceable support tool in the surface engineering of slopes, deep foundation pits such as rock and soil, and in underground chambers such as tunnels and stopes. The friction bolt is a tubular rod body with high-strength metal sheet rolled into longitudinal joints. It is generally used in conjunction with shotcrete in support work. This can not only make up for the lack of tensile and shear resistance of the soil, but also during the grouting process, the cement slurry can penetrate into the cracks inside the rock and soil mass to strengthen and reinforce the rock and soil structure.

In daily life, many people are prone to misunderstanding when using friction bolts. For example, in order to speed up the installation speed of the anchors, they are hit with a hammer to make the diameter thinner and the width of the seam smaller. Saw the next section, but this will result in low anchoring force and poor control of the top plate. So, what are the safe ways to use friction bolts?

1. Before drilling the rock bolt, it is necessary to ensure the stability of the roof and the coal gang for safe operation;

2. It is forbidden to anchor put on the ground. As the rig is placed on the ground, once the ventilation is mishandled, the air legs will suddenly stagger and an accident will occur;

3. When drilling the rock bolt, it is forbidden to use a gloved hand to hold the drill rod;

4. When opening the eye, the drilling rig should be stabilized to perform the opening operation;

5. When drilling by pneumatic anchor machine, the leg thrust should be increased at an even speed to prevent the slow drilling speed, stuck drilling, broken drill, chipped blade and other problems caused by uneven thrust.
