So, what are the rules to be followed or what matters should be taken into account in the installation of anchor cables?

Use Anchorage drill or bolt drill to drill holes. The depth error of Anchorage cable hole should not be more than 100mm. The cable should be perpendicular to the roof or roadway contour, and the error between the actual drilling angle and the design angle should not be more than 10 °. The error of row distance between anchor cables is not more than 100mm. The installation of anchor cables should be preferred to use electric or pneumatic tensioning tools, not manual tensioning tools.

Therefore, there are striking similarities between bolt and cable support, including operational steps and points for attention. Bolt and cable support sometimes also use anchor rope to play the role of overall reinforcement.
