The split bolt is a new type of anchor that fully anchors the rock and actively strengthens the surrounding rock, its three-dimensional part is a longitudinally slit high-strength steel pipe, when installed in a drill hole that is slightly smaller than the pipe diameter, it can immediately apply radial pressure to the hole wall and prevent the surrounding rock from sliding down, together with the supporting force of the bolt tray pallet, the surrouding rock is in a three-direction stress state and the rock formation is stabilized.

Technical Requirements

The surface of the split bolt should be flat without serious strain and corrsion. The weld should be free from cracks, no slag inclusions, and not allowed to burn through the pipe wall. The tray should be free to move on the rod. It is advisable that the retaining ring interface and the pipe opening are misaligned 170o-190o.
